President: Daniel L. Ulloa is a Democratic Political Consultant. In addition to serving as AWA President, he is Communications Coordinator for the Latino Action Network, Policy Co-Chair of the NJ Democratic Progressive Caucus, and Vice President of the New Jersey Young Democratic Jewish Caucus. Daniel also serves on the advisory board of Help Not Handcuffs. He received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Syracuse University and a Master’s degree in Legislative Affairs from George Washington University.
Outreach Director: Juanita McKoy is a licensed social worker. She is also a leader in the Metuchen-Edison NAACP and a Committeewoman for the Piscataway Democratic Organization.
Field Director: Sayda Tuanama is a Peruvian American who has 22 years of experience working for labor unions such as SEIU 1199 as a Senior Lead Organizer. She has worked primarily in New York and New Jersey to mobilize workers and advocate for economic justice. She studied Civil Rights at the University of Inca Garcilaso de la Vega in Peru.
Treasurer: Luis Ulloa is the former Treasurer of Temple B’Nai Shalom in East Brunswick, NJ.
Senior Policy Analyst: Ismael “Eddie” Rivera is a Democratic activist. Eddie serves as the Secretary of the NJ Democratic Progressive Caucus. He received a Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from Rowan University and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University.
